It is a country with many official languages, such as English, Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil. This multiculturalism expresses itself in the food of Singapore, which is renowned for being one of the best in Asia, if not, the world.
Singapore's tropical weather has endowed this small yet powerful country with beautiful greenery, gifting its residents with 50 national parks and four nature reserves to enjoy and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. It's such a great place to live that even Facebook multi-billionaire co-founder, Eduardo Saverin, gave up his US citizenship and moved to Singapore in 2009.
Known for its powerful banking and trade sectors, Singapore also attracts millions of tourists from around Asia and the world.
The Metro in Singapore is modern, clean and convenient. It is perfect for tourists and visitors because it connects to every important site that you will want to visit.
Singapore is known for its delicious and addictive food. The Newton Food Court is a fantastic place to visit to have a taste of everything Singaporean. The atmosphere of colors, scents, and sights will flood your senses once you enter and experience the 83 food stalls and street food, vendors. If you are a foodie, there is nothing comparable to what you will find here.
A trip to Singapore is not complete without visiting the Singapore Botanic Garden. It has been listed as a World Heritage Site. The area is absolutely stunning and houses the largest Orchid exhibition in the world. It only costs $5 to enter, so it is an inexpensive way to indulge and experience what paradise might be like. Of course, there are many delicious food options to indulge in while planning your next stop.
Marina Bay Sands Skypark
Marina Bay Sands (MBS) is an integrated resort, which features the largest hotel in Singapore with 2,561 rooms. Its distinct architecture is unmistakable as seen here as the backdrop to the limited-edition ZINVO Rose Gold Blade. It is owned by Casino mogul, Sheldon Adelson of Las Vegas Sands and was designed by Moshe Safdie.
The Skypark, which is the size of three football fields, also towers over Marina Bay at over 650 feet. The famous rooftop infinity pool is featured in many social media selfie pics, teasing the people that have not yet had the opportunity to visit. The resort is filled with restaurants of the world’s top celebrity chefs, adding another layer to its already famous food culture.
The resort features the hotel, an impressive casino, a huge shopping mall, an immense convention center, and art museum. Unsurprisingly, 40 million people have visited MBS, highlighting the project's success.
Singapore knows how to be successful. Even though they were forced out of the Malaysian Federation in 1965, their independence has been a blessing for its residents and the world. Their banking and trade industries have made them a global economic powerhouse, while their tourism industry has made Singapore a bucket-list destination for all to aspire to.
