ZINVO Drives Forward with Supercars Club Arabia

What’s better than a Lamborghini Aventador SV? One that is flanked by a Porsche 911 GT3RS, a McLaren 570S, a Porsche 918 Spyder, a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Ferrari FF, an Aston Martin V10 Vantage, a Ferrari California T, an Audi R8, a Lexus RCF, and other high-performance vehicles! 

Over the course of ten days, from the 16th until the 26th of August 2016, Supercars Club Arabia held their rally of incredible driving machines. Starting in Stockholm and ending in Monaco, it’s an adrenaline-fueled event that spans 3,000km through eight European cities including Helsingborg, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Paris, and Annecy. Each stop on the Europe tour brought out passionate gearheads that arrived in droves to admire the amazing collection of supercars on display. Established in 2014 in Bahrain, Supercars Club Arabia aims to bring together supercar owners from six Gulf countries to build a close-knit community of exotic car enthusiasts.

Dubbed the Scandiera, this year’s event was the second edition of the Supercars Club Arabia rally and ZINVO was along for the fast and furious ride. Each of the 18 supercars was tastefully branded with the ZINVO logo. And, to celebrate the sponsorship we created a special edition of our signature Blade timepiece—the Blade Phantom SCA // Carbon. Limited to only 45 pieces, these commemorative ZINVO timepieces were offered to the participants of the Scandiera rally.

Launched last year, the ZINVO Blade caused waves in the watch world with its patented Blades seconds mechanism. Rather than a traditional seconds hand, the rotating disc on the dial indicates each second of time passing. The constant oscillation on the dial mesmerizes with each glance of the innovative watch. Available in a range of materials, from yellow gold to stainless steel—including black matte and gunmetal versions—the ZINVO Blade measures a bold 44mm for a confident timepiece that commands attention. Powered by an automatic mechanical movement, equipped with a date function, protected by scratchproof sapphire crystal, and outfitted with an Italian leather band, ZINVO wearers get a whole lotta watch at a very reasonable price point.

The limited edition Blade Phantom SCA // Carbon watch sports the characteristic 44mm round case in stainless steel with black matte coating and is kitted out with a black Italian leather strap with carbon pattern and black stitching. The SCA edition of the ZINVO blade is individually numbered on the caseback and features an embossed logo on the inner part of the strap. Aside from creating the exclusive Blade Phantom SCA Carbon, ZINVO also sponsored the Lexus RFC supercar participating in the Supercars Club Arabia rally.

Although the Scandiera rally was all about speed, there was some downtime along the way where the drivers were treated to a tour of the Koenigsegg car factory, an ultra-exclusive hypercar manufacturer based in Sweden.
